The Warsaw Presidential Hotel is one of Warsaw's most recognizable landmarks. Although it is officially known as the Presidential, locals still associate it with its previous name, the Marriott, and the prominent Samsung advertisements visible from across downtown. The building’s lower floors house offices, while the hotel’s 521 rooms occupy floors 20–40. Marriott ended its partnership in 2024, and the hotel briefly closed before undergoing a major renovation, which was nearing completion when we stayed there in October 2025.
According to its website, the Warsaw Presidential Hotel is a five-star property, and indeed, it offers the full range of amenities one would expect at that level. The recently refurbished spa, attentive concierge service in the lobby, and doormen on duty around the clock all add to the experience. Personally, I would describe it as a high-end four-star city hotel, comparable in standard to a Radisson Blu Hotels. The location, right in the heart of Warsaw, is excellent, and despite the busy traffic below, noise rarely reaches the upper floors. For anyone planning a city break in Warsaw, I can recommend the hotel especially for its central location. In this large city, distances can be long, but from here, many restaurants and museums are within walking distance.

Rooms at the Warsaw Presidential Hotel
All rooms were fully refurbished when the property transitioned from a Marriott to the Presidential. The rooms vary in size and bed configuration. Interiors are neutral and understated, and the bathrooms are both functional and stylish. The views over central Warsaw are impressive. Some sound could occasionally be heard from neighbouring rooms, particularly through the bathrooms, but the wall-to-wall carpeting in the rooms and hallways does a good job of dampening noise. As the hotel is newly renovated, everything still feels fresh and clean.

Breakfast at the Warsaw Presidential Hotel
Breakfast is served over an extended period, though between 8 and 9 a.m. the dining room can get quite busy. The long, spacious restaurant area ensures there is ample seating, and the young staff efficiently clear and reset tables. The walk from your table to the buffet might be a bit long. The breakfast selection is diverse, offering both hot and cold dishes, with thoughtful vegetarian options as well. Table service is not provided, even for coffee.

Recommended for City or Business Trips
I recommend the Warsaw Presidential Hotel as a comfortable base for either a city break or a business trip. Everything essential works smoothly, the location is excellent, the décor understated, and the breakfast buffet excellent. As an added convenience, the hotel’s rear entrance is adjacent to the Contbus company’s city terminal, offering direct airport transfers to Modlin Airport served by Ryanair flights.
